Yana - Nail Technician
Yana is a Nail Technician with 6 years experience, qualified in all products and techniques, such as Acrilyc extentions, Gel extentions, Gel polish (Shellac), Builder gel overlay BIAB and Advanced Nail Art. Yana really enjoys challenges, testing out different styles and nail designs. She can through her talent create something noticeable and make a remarkable difference.
Since a child she was fascinated by beautiful nail art. She is passionate about nails and for her, the best feeling is the positive feedback she receives about her work from her clients. She believes that, the most essential message she can instill in her clients is that it is not only important to have nails that are beautiful and tidy, but also healthy nails is the key!
Rachel - Press On Nails Artist
Rachel is a qualified nail technician, who specialised in builder gel and gel extensions and complex nail art. Rachel started out by doing her own nails and then progressed onto doing family and friends nails. She loved seeing the joy it brought others, so she was inspired to make this into a career. She then went on to study and became a qualified nail technician. Rachel started as a nail artist in Beauty Allure Salon and has progressed to manage the Store department for Press on Nails.
As a Nail Tech, she found that some of her clients could only get their nails done for special occasions/holidays as their jobs didn't permit nail enhancements. Traditional Nail enhancements just aren't for everyone due to work, religion, people who like to swap their designs a-lot and many more reasons. This inspired her to think of a solution for people in these types of situations who wanted nice nails. Rachel found that providing Press-On Nails, so everyone is able to enjoy the luxury of nails no matter their circumstances, was indeed the solution.
Rachel’s favourite thing about being a nail artist is the fact that she gets to make people feel beautiful by creating art for their nails. She is thankful she is able to do what she loves.
Avril - Hair Braiding Specialist
Avril is an experienced self-trained braider. Specialising in knotless braiding, conroes, braiding, styling locs, faux locs and twists. Keeping up with the latest trends and updating her techniques, she is constantly increasing her expertise and skills. Avril loves braiding hair because it's a form of art and it's a way for her to express her creativity. Seeing the smile on her clients' faces when they see their new hairstyle is the best part of her job.
As the daughter of a hair stylist, she was used to helping her mum every time she had a client. As she was always around a braider, picking up the skills was very easy for her. Her first art was in June 2022 on her sister’s hair. Her mum, and her friends reaction gave her the confidence to keep braiding. That’s when she knew she really had a hidden talent for this.
Avril believes that every hair styles comes with it’s own challenges, but she always goes on her ways to make it possible to achieve, and that’s how she can keep her clients happy.
Dee - Hair Consultant & Cosmetologist
Dee holds a level 5 qualification in Trichology (hair science), specialising in curly, afro, coyly and wavy hair.
Dee will really hold you through your hair journey. From discussing your hair problem areas, hair goals and providing professional hair care advice. She will assist in creating a personalised regimen for your specific hair character, and provide you with regular hair treatments necessary, to achieve your goals.
Being the oldest of two siblings, she became the hair guru of the family. A few years into her journey in 2014 she was introduced to hair treatments and hair shaping. When she saw family, friends & clients’ reactions, and the way lives were changed with helping people accept their natural hair, she knew she had to do it ALL THE TIME!
She believes that long or short hair is a matter of choice and preference, however, healthy hair is the key!
Hilda - Make-up Artist & Micro-blading Technician
Hilda is a professional makeup artist with 9 years of experience in the world of beauty. She is passionate about enhancing her clients' natural features and making them feel like the best version of themselves. She has worked with a diverse variety of clients, from bridals to models and fabulous individuals.
Hilda stays on top of the latest trends, techniques, and products, constantly updating her kit to ensure that her clients receive nothing but the highest quality ingredients and the most stunning results. She creates a friendly and comfortable environment where you can openly express your needs and concerns. Hilda also offers micro-blading service. If you are looking for perfectly sculpted and defined eyebrows, she is your girl! She will have you waking up to beautifully shaped eyebrows every day.
